Definitions

  • Affiliates: Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Our affiliates include companies with an “Madison River” name.

  • Nonaffiliates: Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. Nonaffiliates we share with can include your broker or agent, or service providers or financial companies who maintain or service customer accounts for the Company.

  • Joint marketing: A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Our joint marketing partners include the Company’s placement agent(s), if any.
